Be Aware of Being Forced to Rest

Don't be forced to stay in one place.

This past week, I had COVID-19 and it reminded me of the importance of rest. It doesn't matter what your job is, or how much you are running around in your daily life, if you are not in alignment with your mind, body, and spirit, you may be forced to rest.


The Universe gives us hints on when we need to slow down for whatever reason. It may be to spend more time with family, friends, or self. Sometimes we need to do things that are relaxing and sometimes we just need to do something fun even though there are things that need to be done.


It is balancing the responsibilities of our careers, families, and self in addition to our enjoyment of life that will keep us well. If not, we may be forced to rest.


I have known people who have broken their leg, their arm, needed unexpected surgeries, or like me got sick and forced us rest for an extended time period. Paying attention to your mind, body, and spirit and picking up on clues that the Universe will be providing to you is paramount so that you will rest voluntarily instead of being forced.


Feeling overwhelmed, overly tired, frustrated, having family issues, and losing patience are some of the more common symptoms that we must pay attention to and take the time to rest and nurture. If there isn't any awareness and we push on, we will be forced to rest. No doubt will most likely be at THE worst time.


Taking small steps to stay balanced is so much easier to manage than being forced to rest for an extended amount of time.
